Additionally, he emphasized Gujarat’s capacity to become a $3 trillion economy, reflecting his optimistic outlook on the state’s economic trajectory. Ambani’s strategic vision aligns with the larger ambition of fostering sustainable growth and economic prosperity in both Gujarat and the nation at large.

Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, proudly reaffirmed the company’s deep connection to its Gujarati roots during the inaugural ceremony of VGGS 2024 in Gandhinagar. Ambani declared that RIL has not only been a Gujarati company but will continue to be so in the future. Emphasizing this commitment, he revealed a remarkable total investment of $150 billion (approximately Rs 12 lakh crore) in Gujarat over the past decade. Proud of his Gujarati heritage, Ambani expressed his belief that Gujarat has the potential to become a $3 trillion economy, aligning with his broader vision for India’s economic growth.

During his address, Ambani acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s role in laying a solid foundation for a developed India. He expressed confidence in India’s trajectory, stating that no power on earth can hinder the country from reaching a $35 trillion economy by 2047. Additionally, Ambani made five significant commitments to Gujarat, including support for the state’s renewable energy goals, expansion plans for Reliance Retail to benefit farmers and small retailers, and the establishment of India’s first carbon fiber facility at Hazira, marking a pivotal step in advancing new materials and the circular economy.

Ambani also shed light on the transformative potential of 5G technology, as Reliance Jio rolls out 5G in Gujarat. He asserted that the 5G-enabled AI revolution would enhance Gujarat’s economy, making it more productive, efficient, and globally competitive. Furthermore, Ambani expressed Reliance’s dedication to making Gujarat a trailblazer in new materials and circular economy practices, showcasing a comprehensive and forward-looking vision for the state’s economic development.
