“The hotel owner allegedly orchestrated the disposal of the victim’s body, reportedly paying two associates ₹10 lakh to transport the remains to his BMW and discard them at an undisclosed location.”
NEW DELHI :- In a shocking and multi-faceted crime unfolding in Gurugram, a former model and ex-girlfriend of a notorious gangster has become the victim of a heinous murder allegedly orchestrated by a hotel owner and his associates. The chilling details involve the disposal of the victim’s body, which was reportedly dragged to a BMW and dumped at an undisclosed location, leaving authorities searching for crucial evidence. The motive behind the gruesome killing remains shrouded in mystery, adding another layer of intrigue to the case.
What further complicates the narrative is the victim’s troubled past – she was previously accused in the alleged fake encounter of her gangster boyfriend, Gurugram’s most-wanted criminal, in 2016. Serving a seven-year prison sentence, she only secured bail last year, marking a turbulent chapter in her life. The unfolding events have left the local authorities at Gurugram’s Sector 14 police station grappling with a perplexing investigation, prompted by a complaint from the family of 27-year-old Divya Pahuja, who went missing after a New Year outing with her friend Abhijeet Singh, the owner of Hotel City Point in Gurugram. With Pahuja’s phone switched off for an extended period, the police are racing against time to unravel the layers of this complex and tragic tale.
“Pahuja, with a significant connection to the criminal underworld, was the girlfriend of Gurugram’s most-wanted gangster, Sandeep Gadoli, who met his demise in a controversial encounter with the Haryana police at a Mumbai hotel in 2016. Complicating matters further, Pahuja was present in the hotel room when Gadoli was killed, leading to her subsequent arrest. The encounter raised suspicions of being staged, resulting in the arrest of several police officials. Pahuja and her mother also faced charges of disclosing the gangster’s location and aiding in the alleged fake encounter. After spending seven years behind bars, Pahuja was granted bail by the Bombay High Court in July of the previous year.”
“Assistant Commissioner of Police Mukesh Kumar revealed that the accused, following the murder, attempted to destroy crucial evidence. In response to the family’s concerns about the victim’s prolonged phone inactivity, they approached the hotel, seeking access to CCTV footage, only to be denied. Subsequently, upon filing a complaint, officials from Sector 14 police station intervened, obtaining access to the footage that depicted the distressing scene of Pahuja’s body being dragged. A search for the victim’s body is now underway. Notably, Divya Pahuja hailed from Baldev Nagar in Gurugram, while Abhijeet Singh, the accused, resides in Delhi’s South Extension.”
