To be eligible, candidates must fall within the age range of 21 to 40 years. They should have completed at least Class 8 from a recognized school and possess a valid transport license. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of three years of driving experience in a government organization, quasi-government organization, registered private limited company, or equivalent.

Kolkata Police Force as a Driver 412 Vacancies – Selection Process

The selection process consists of a driving test and an interview. After these stages, a merit list of provisionally selected candidates will be compiled based on the marks obtained in both parts. These provisionally selected candidates will need to undergo a medical fitness test at Kolkata Police Hospital.

Kolkata Police Force as a Driver 412 Vacancies – How to Apply
(a) The prescribed application format can be downloaded from the Kolkata Police website, @kolkatapolice.gov.in. Ensure that the application is printed on white A-4 size paper.
(b) Along with the application, attach self-attested copies of the following documents:

- Identity proof (PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter Card, Bank Passbook with photograph, Aadhaar Card, e-Aadhaar Card with photograph).
- Proof of address (Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, e-Aadhaar Card with photograph, Passport, Driving License, Bank Passbook, Electric Bill, Telephone Bill).
- Proof of age (Birth Certificate, Pan Card, Admit Card of Madhyamik or Equivalent Examination, Passport, Driving Licence, Aadhar Card, School Leaving Certificate).
- Driving License (self-attested copy).
- Experience certificate (self-attested copy).
- One recent passport-size photograph (4.5cm x 3.5cm) with self-attestation, to be affixed on the top right of the application.
(c) During the interview, all original documents mentioned above will be verified.
(d) The filled-in application form, along with the necessary documents, should be personally submitted (not by post or any other means) in the designated DROP BOX during office hours, located at “Police Training School, 247, A. J. C. Bose Road, Kolkata 700 027.”
(e) The envelope containing the application must be clearly labeled as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF POLICE DRIVER (CONTRACTUAL)/DRIVER (CONTRACTUAL), 2023.”
(f) Multiple applications from the same candidate will result in the cancellation of their candidature.
(g) Applications will only be accepted at the specified address mentioned above.
(h) No applications sent via Speed post/Registered post will be entertained.
