Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarks on an 11-day spiritual journey, initiating a special ritual for the Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ramlala at Ayodhya Dham. This significant endeavor blends devotion and national unity.

New Delhi, January 12, 2024 – In a deeply emotional and spiritually charged message, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the commencement of an 11-day special ritual leading up to the Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ramlala at the Ayodhya Dham on January 22nd. The Prime Minister, expressing profound gratitude for being chosen as the instrument to represent the people of India, acknowledged the enormous responsibility bestowed upon him.

“I am overwhelmed with emotions! For the first time in my life, I am going through such feelings, I am experiencing a different feeling of devotion. This emotional journey of my inner self is not an opportunity for expression but for experience. Even though I want to, I am not able to put into words its depth, breadth, and intensity. You can also understand my situation very well,” shared PM Modi in his heartfelt message.

The special ritual, guided by the ‘Yama-Niyams’ suggested by pious souls and spiritual leaders, marks a significant step toward awakening divine consciousness for the Yagya and worship of God, in preparation for the consecration.

Expressing his gratitude and acknowledging the outpouring of Ram Bhakti across the nation, PM Modi stated, “I have the privilege of being present at the time of the fulfillment of the dream which many generations have lived in their hearts like a resolution for years. God has made me an instrument to represent all the people of India. This is a huge responsibility.”

Initiating the ritual from Nashik Dham – Panchavati, where Lord Ram spent significant time, the Prime Minister highlighted the auspicious coincidence of Swami Vivekananda’s Jayanti and Mata Jijabai’s Jayanti on the same day, paying tribute to the two luminaries of the nation’s consciousness.

Remembering his own mother’s devotion to Sita-Ram, PM Modi urged the nation to join him in spirit during this sacred moment. “Physically, I will be a witness to that sacred moment, but in my mind, in every beat of my heart, 140 crore Indians will be with me. You will be with me… every Ram devotee will be with me. And that conscious moment will be a shared experience for all of us. I will take with me the inspiration of countless personalities who have dedicated their lives to the cause of Ram Mandir,” he proclaimed.
