Prime Minister Modi ignites Ayodhya’s evolution with a historic visit, inaugurating the state-of-the-art Ayodhya Airport and laying the foundation for transformative development projects worth over Rs 15,700 crore.
Uttar Pradesh Ayodhya, December 30, 2023 – In a momentous event echoing the sacred vibes of Treta Yug, Prime Minister Narendra Modi illuminated Ayodhya with the resonating chants of “Jai Shree Ram.” The visionary leader embarked on a transformative journey to Ayodhya, unveiling an ambitious plan to uplift the city’s infrastructure and civic amenities, infused with the essence of the upcoming Shri Ram Mandir.
PM Modi, immersed in the cultural and historical significance of Ayodhya, inaugurated the Ayodhya Airport, a symbol of modernity rooted in tradition. The airport, developed at a cost exceeding Rs 1450 crore, boasts a state-of-the-art terminal building spanning 6500 sqm. Adorned with the architectural splendor reminiscent of the Shri Ram Mandir, the facade pays homage to the divine lineage of Ayodhya.
Inside the terminal, local art, paintings, and murals vividly depict the life of Bhagwan Shri Ram, fostering a spiritual and cultural ambience. Beyond aesthetics, the airport incorporates sustainability at its core, featuring an insulated roofing system, LED lighting, rainwater harvesting, landscaping with fountains, water treatment, sewage treatment plant, and a solar power plant. These eco-friendly elements contribute to the airport’s GRIHA 5-star rating, aligning with the government’s commitment to environmental consciousness.
The Ayodhya Airport’s Phase 1 is poised to serve approximately 10 lakh passengers annually, enhancing connectivity in the region. This strategic development is anticipated to catalyze a surge in tourism, spur business activities, and generate employment opportunities.
As the Prime Minister partakes in a public program, inaugurating and dedicating projects valued at over Rs 15,700 crore, the resonance of progress echoes through the historic landscape of Ayodhya and beyond.
