RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Educational Qualification Criteria

Prospective candidates are required to have passed the Matriculation exam from a recognized State or Central board. Additionally, they must hold an ITI Trade certificate in the relevant discipline from SCVT/NCVT. Alternatively, candidates can possess a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an AICTE recognized institution.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Age Limit

Applicants must fall within the age bracket of 18 to 30 years as of July 01, 2024. The recruitment process also offers age relaxation, with 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates and 5 years for SC/ST aspirants.

  1. CBT I (Computer-Based Test I):
    • Mode of Exam: Online
    • Duration: 60 minutes
    • Sections: Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness on Current Affairs
    • Number of Questions: 75
    • Marks: 75
    • Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer, negative marking of ⅓ mark for each incorrect answer.
  2. CBT II (Computer-Based Test II):
    • Mode of Exam: Online
    • Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
    • Sections:
      • Part A: Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness on Current Affairs
      • Part B: Relevant Trade
    • Number of Questions:
      • Part A: 100
      • Part B: 75
    • Marks:
      • Part A: 100
      • Part B: 75
    • Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer, negative marking of ⅓ mark for each incorrect answer.
  3. Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT):
    • Candidates clearing CBT I and II will be called for CBAT, leading to the preparation of the final selection list.
