In response to the grievances raised by retired school teachers regarding unpaid dues during her 3-day visit to Amethi, Union Minister Smriti Irani took swift action. Ms. Irani, upon learning of the issue, promptly contacted the district inspector of schools, emphasizing the importance of clearing all pending payments without delay.”
“Whatever pendency you have on your desk, clear it today itself,” Ms Irani tells the officer.
“The video of the BJP MP’s conversation with the education officer has gone viral on social media.”
She emphasizes that every person in Amethi comes directly to her with their problems.
“Display some humanity. This is Amethi, every citizen here has access to me,” she says.
She conveyed to the officer that the Yogi Adityanath government shares the concern for teachers receiving their dues and urged him to take immediate action in alignment with the government’s stance.
