The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 application deadline for submission without incurring a late fee is closing today, October 5. Candidates who have not yet applied can still do so by visiting @gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

However, after this deadline, applicants will be able to submit their forms until October 13, but they will be required to pay a late fee. The regular application fee for SC, SG, and PwD candidates stands at ₹900, whereas during the extended period, it increases to ₹1,400 for these categories. For other candidates, the regular fee is ₹1,800, and during the extended period, it rises to ₹2,300.

The organizing institute, IISc Bangalore, has also announced that applicants will have the opportunity to edit their application forms from November 7 to 11.

GATE 2024 is scheduled to take place on February 3, 4, 10, and 11 of the coming year. On February 13, candidates’ responses will be uploaded to the official website, followed by the release of answer keys on February 21.

The results for GATE 2024 are slated to be announced on March 16.

Indian nationals interested in applying for GATE 2024 must possess an undergraduate degree from a recognized university in Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture, or Humanities. Additionally, individuals in the final year or semester of their undergraduate degree in any of these fields are also eligible to take the examination.
