SSC CPO Recruitment 2025
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the SSC CPO Exam to recruit candidates for the position of Sub Inspector in the Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The SSC CPO 2025 exam will consist of four stages: Paper I, a Physical Standard Test (PST) or Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper II, and a Detailed Medical Examination (DME). SSC CPO Online Form 2025
The online application process for the SSC CPO 2025 has begun on the official website, https://ssc.gov.in/, following the release of the official notification on September 26, 2025. Candidates can submit their applications until the closing date of October 16, 2025. It is crucial to apply before this deadline to be eligible for the exam. SSC CPO 2025 Application Fee
Mode of Payment- Online only (Net-Banking, Credit/Debit cards and BHIM, UPI, etc)
A total of Rs. 100/- is the application fee to be paid by male candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories for the SSC CPO 2025 exam. Women candidates and candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), the Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fees. The payment of the application fee can be made only through online payment modes such as Net-Banking, Credit/Debit cards and BHIM, UPI etc.
SSC CPO 2025 Eligibility
To apply for SSC CPO Recruitment 2025, the candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirements. There are 3 criteria that a candidate needs to fulfil to be eligible for the SSC CPO 2025 Exam. Check the detailed eligibility criteria section below-:
SSC CPO SI Nationality/ Citizenship
A candidate must be either:
1. a citizen of India, or
2. a subject of Nepal, or
3. a subject of Bhutan, or
4. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories 2 and 3 above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
5. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary will be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India
SSC CPO SI Educational Qualification
For the post of Sub Inspector (GD) in Delhi Police & CAPFs- A candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised University.
For the post of Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police (Males only)– Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.
SSC CPO SI Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025)
The age limit of the candidates should be from 20 to 25 years, i.e., the Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.2000 and not later than
01.08.2005 to be eligible to apply.

SSC CPO 2025 Selection Process
The SSC CPO 2025 selection process has four stages. First, candidates will take Paper 1, a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Then, they must pass the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Next is Paper 2, another Computer-Based Test, which is English Comprehension. Finally, candidates who clear all previous stages will undergo a Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Each stage must be cleared to move to the next one.

SSC CPO 2025 Exam Pattern
- Questions asked in both paper-1 and paper-2 of SSC CPO 2025 will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type.
- Questions asked in Paper 1 will be bilingual, i.e. in both Hindi and English, while questions in Paper 2 will be only in English.
- 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer marked by a candidate for both Paper 1 & 2.
- The total time duration is 2 hours with a sectional timer of 30 minutes for each part.
